  14. I've got that out of the way, I'm pretty sure that it won't harm your
  15. computer or disk drives in any way. To be sure, back up your Qecho.ctl
  16. file(s) before using it.

  18.     Qecho Manager is the first attempt at making Qecho a little more
  19. friendly to the new sysop and also to help you maintain/edit your
  20. control file. Qe_ctl.exe is part one of two. I am working on Ar_bbs.exe
  21. and it will complete the set.

  23.     Qe_ctl has only one commandline parameter, /M. If you are running a
  24. monochrome monitor, type Qe_ctl /M at the DOS prompt. If you are using
  25. a color monitor, just type Qe_ctl.

  27. Limitations.

  29.     It only handles 10 qecho.ctl files (I may up it to 15 if someone
  30. wants it).

  32.     It only handles up to 60 packer statments. I really don't see for
  33. any more than that and Qecho 2.75 will have a default statement so there
  34. should be no reason in the future to have a lot of statements.

  36.     It doesn't support arc/unarc. That's what the packer statement's for.
  37. Maybe I'm being a little bold but...

  39.     It doesn't support Qecho 2.75 but will in the next release.

  41. Features, etc.

  43.     You can navigate through the menus using the up, down, home, end,
  44. page up and page down keys. When editing a field, you can use the insert
  45. and delete keys (as well as home and end). There are help screens that
  46. describe the qecho.ctl statements.

  48.     I tried to make it as simple to use as possible and so this is about
  49. it for documents. If you really need more documents, please let me know
  50. and I'll whip up more detailed instructions.

  62. bug in detail. I'll work on it as soon as I get it, but I won't release
  63. the fix right away (unless of course, it coincides).

  67.     Ok, seeing how only one person has registered REORA/REOQB, I expect
  68. the same overwhelming response. Maybe I'm wrong, prove it. I haven't
  69. crippled it in any way and it won't flash a "Register me" message to
  70. your, so please take that into consideration. I think that what I am
  71. asking for is a pittance and considering that it will also good for
  72. Ar_bbs when it becomes available, it's not a bad deal.
